On August 3, 2025, the Long Beach Open concluded at El Dorado Park Golf Course. This event marked the end of four days of exceptional golf, local pride, and memorable moments. From July 31 to August 3, 150 professional golfers participated. A select group of elite amateurs also competed. They played in a 72-hole stroke play tournament. Cuts were made after the 36th and 54th holes to narrow the field. This set up an exciting finish over the weekend.
🏆 Brannon Fahrny’s championship performance made him the 2025 champion. He navigated firm greens and shifting coastal winds. The field was filled with seasoned tour veterans and eager up-and-comers.
Amateur Spotlight, The Long Beach Open’s tradition of including top amateurs continued to shine.Patrick Ordonez (A) not only made the cut. He also posted a weekend 67 to finish inside the top 20. He earned respect from both peers and fans.
📍 Local Flavor Spectators enjoyed more than just golf. The event also coincided with the Long Beach Golf Hall of Fame induction of Dana Dahlquist and Troy Grant. This added an extra layer of celebration to Sunday’s closing ceremony.
