A Thanksgiving Message from LBGN
This Thanksgiving, we at Long Beach Golf Network are feeling especially grateful.
We’re thankful for the opportunity to tell the story of Long Beach golf—its rich history, its vibrant legacy, and the community that continues to shape it. Sharing these stories is more than a privilege; it’s an honor we don’t take lightly.
We’re also deeply thankful for the overwhelming response from our community. The encouragement, the shared memories, the personal stories—it’s been humbling and energizing. You’ve reminded us why we started this journey in the first place.
As we move closer to launching our new website, we’re grateful for the incredible team that’s come together behind the scenes, and for the sponsors who’ve stepped forward to support our vision.
This Thanksgiving, we’re not just thankful—we’re excited. Excited for the new year, for the opportunities ahead, and for the chance to keep building something meaningful with all of you.
Thank you to everyone who’s helped make this project a success. We’re just getting started.

Things Golfers Are Thankful For This Thanksgiving
This Thanksgiving, golfers across Southern California have a lot to be grateful for—and no, it’s not just the pumpkin pie waiting at home.
First off, let’s give thanks for the weather. While much of the country is bundled up in scarves and earmuffs, we’re blessed with sunshine warm enough to make a tee time feel like a holiday gift. Playing golf in short sleeves on Thanksgiving morning? That’s California living at its finest.
Next, a heartfelt nod to the unsung heroes of the day: our spouses. Permission to sneak out for an early round before the turkey hits the oven is a blessing that deserves its own toast. After all, nothing makes stuffing taste better than knowing you already stuffed a few pars into your scorecard.
Of course, Thanksgiving wouldn’t be complete without a mention of birdies. The term takes on a whole new meaning today—while the rest of America is chasing turkeys, we’re chasing birdies. And let’s be honest, we’ll happily take seconds.
But above all, we’re thankful for the staff who make the course come alive even on a holiday. From the grounds crew who rake bunkers before sunrise, to the clubhouse team pouring coffee with a smile, to the starter who keeps the pace moving so we can get home before kickoff—these folks are the real MVPs of Thanksgiving golf. Without them, our holiday rounds would be nothing more than wishful thinking.
So here’s to sunshine, birdies, understanding spouses, and the dedicated staff who keep the fairways rolling. May your drives be straight, your putts be true, and your plate be full when you finally sit down to dinner.

I hope all have a wonderful Thanksgiving and no three putts!!!!!
Thanks Bill, appreciate your support. I’ll be updating your story soon, we are getting close to launching our new website. Saving it for the launch.
